Home sweet home!

Greeted by Charlie along with many family and friends, Team Zambia arrived home safely about 11:30am Friday morning. Our trip was life changing. Many of us are evaluating what the Lord allowed in our lives these past couple weeks. Some sense the call to a foreign land, some back to Zambia, and still others our own backyards. Thank you again all that supported us with prayers and finances. Without you I know this trip would not have had the impact. We will never be the same.
You are all invited Sunday September 2nd during both morning services as the Team shares testimonies and pictures of the amazing trip to Africa.
Please continue to pray that the world, as Jesus spoke of in the parable of the Sower, does not choke the seeds that have been planted.
Thank you again.

Now that the team is home, we have a tendency to think we can stop praying. Wrong! God has only begun to work among us, and the evil one will continue to do whatever he can to thwart the work and Word of God, both here and in Zambia. There are 1200 precious new believers who need our prayers right now and in the days ahead, and 18 precious brothers and sisters right here who will be expected to resume a "normal" life here in America on Monday morning as they return to work, prepare for school, etc.
I encourage everyone who reads this to pray, pray, pray. Pray for the Zambian believers, pray for the Team, pray for our church; that as the team shares with us, the passion burning in their hearts will be transmitted to all of us here at FBC, and we would submit to God and allow Him to change our hearts and open our minds to the reason why we are here - to make disciples who reproduce, train leaders who multiply, and deploy equipped ministers into the world. Remember, "we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness in this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places", so let's put on our armor, pick up our swords, and "pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints". To God be the glory!
